I think I have a problem...

It started out as mild curiosity. I just wanted to see what all of the fuss was about. But one glance wasn't enough. I found myself unable to look away. I didn't see this as a problem because I had clicked on other sites before - sites that showed things that I enjoy doing (and some things that I was curious about trying) but I was able to turn away and move on with my life. Unfortunately, this little secret hobby has started to take over my life.

I knew I had a problem when I stopped to talk to some friends after church and upon getting in my car, I looked at the clock and nearly screamed. I quickly grabbed my cell phone and made the call. I was cutting it too close and now I needed to drag someone in to my dark world to help me out.

Frank picked up the phone and I asked him what he was doing. He was tuning his drums. Thank God he wasn't taking up space where I needed him. I told him , "Listen very carefully. I need you to do something very important. It will require your full concentration. Are you ready?"

I needed him to get on to my Facebook account and update my Cafe World cafe because I was about to have food ready to serve!!!

How pathetic am I??? I mean, I don't get this upset about feeding my own family and yet here I am, a grown woman, freaking out in the car because my IMAGINARY cafe is getting ready to have fake food go bad on the FAKE stove!!

Clearly, I need help. But I can't get it right now because my jumbo shrimp cocktail is about ready to be served...

I have no idea what I'm making my real, three-dimensional family for dinner. Is that wrong?

I got hooked on Farmville and had a similar obsession. Somehow other things took over and now my farm lies fallow, waiting for me to return. Unfortunately, this is what happens when I try to garden too.

Thanks for the reminder that I needed to get on Metro and boost my happiness before my citizens went on strike! I almost forgot this morning!

LOL I did the same thing with Farm Town over the summer and I refuse to get sucked into the cafe! Absolutely refuse! Well maybe when it gets colder and the snow starts to fall and there is nothing on TV lol

Have a great Tuesday!

LOL LOL LOL LOL You're too funny Stace! I've avoided all of these games for this very reason. I'm too addicted to the regular games that are over in a couple of minutes. I don't need to get sucked in to something that is ongoing!!!!

hahaha, yes, i think you do have a problem. ;)

Me too!! Here's a tip...If you think you might not be able to make it in time when you have food ready to be served, take your door off and put it back in your inventory. Not only will your cooked food stay good on the stove, but your rating will stay up in case you run out of food on the counters.

HAHAHA that is really a funny story. I have tons of friends getting crazy with that game and farmville!

That is hilarious. This is the exact reason why although you just tempted me very much, I cannot join those games. Too addictive.

hee hee! I tried these different facebook games, but I just don't have the patience, but I haven't heard of this one yet. Hmmmm. nope, can't even open it. Blogging has me addicted enough. Farkle was an obsession. I refuse. You and your dirty little secret! And after Church nonetheless. I have to head upstairs for the free donuts, I couldn't possibly make it home in time!

LOL Stace... I couldn't even figure how that game works.

I used to play the Sims though and I was soooo addicted... at least you can put it on pause.

And I played a few where I needed to be online at certain times... it was just too stressful.

Have fun! I could probably stand to play a few games and relax a bit.
